- Requirements, Specifications, and Inspection Criteria Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This requirement is for a new or used, Caterpillar AP655D Asphalt Paver; brand name or equal. Please see the attached soliciation for specifics. Government personnel will perform an "on-site" visual inspection at the "bidders" location of the Paver and Screed, if the piece of equipment is used, in accordance with the following. All items identified in this "inspection criteria" must pass this inspection any discrepancies shall be repaired/replaced, by the provider, as needed in order to comply with inspection requirements. A final inspection of the equipment will be performed during delivery at Hill AFB after the contract has been awarded.
