- Fleet & Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Maritime Industrial Division in Portsmouth, VA hereby gives notice of intent to negotiate and award a firm fixed price contract. Using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, the requirement is for the procurement requisition for a test pump facility located in the industrial area of the NNSY site. The anticipated award date will be established in the solicitation. The test facility is broken into two test stands, one for large pumps (north stand) and one for small pumps (south stand.) The facility has an electrical infrastructure that supports testing motors with AC, DC, and low-voltage switchgear which are located directly aside the larger (north) test stand area. A separate panel services the small test stand area. All equipment is sized to support the current max flow rate of 2000gpm and the max motor size of 350 hp. The contractor will be requir! ed to provide various test reports, certifications, proof of inspections and approvals IAW detailed specifications set forth in solicitation N00189-09-T-N087. This is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS Code 333911 applies with a size standard of 500 employees. Important notice: DFAR 252204-7004 REQUIRED CENTRAL REGISTRATION (CCR) applies.
