- The Department of Education, Contracts & Acquisition Management, Contract Programs Group is requesting quotations from vendors to purchase an upgraded SPSS software license; to include, a network license and maintenance contract for one (1) year. The simplified acquisition procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, a written request for quotation will not be issued. This procurement is unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 511210 and the associated small business size standards in millions of dollars is $25.0. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is EDOOS-09-000009. The description is listed below: Item Description Quantity 1. Upgrade SPSS Statistics Base 16.0-17.0; 1 For up to ten (10) users 2. Upgrade SPSS Advanced 16.0-17.0; 1 For up to ten (10) users 3. Upgrade SPSS Regression 16.0-17.0; 1 For up to ten (10) users 4. Upgrade SPSS Custom Tables 16.0-17.0; 1 For up to ten (10) users Software Contract License #: 100141033 Network license and maintenance contract for one (1) year. Delivery shall be made within 10 days after receipt of purchase order. Delivery terms are F.O.B Destination to: US Department of Education 400 Maryland Ave SW Rm. 7E214 Washington DC 20202-8110. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The maintenance term shall be one (1) year. Maintenance includes technical support and upgrades when and if they are made available. The basis for award shall be price alone. All interested businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). Quotations are due April 13, 2009 at 11:00AMET.
