- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is seeking BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO the following: Vendor NeurLogica Corp; PRODUCT CereTom System (P/N 0-NL3000-001) and associated components for scanning anatomy that can be imaged in the 25cm field of view, primarily head and neck. In the hospital, the CereTom reduces patient backlog, provides safe scanning options for critically ill patients and eliminates the need to transport patients off the acute floor; allowing the staff to remain on the unit. Quantity = 1. Associated Components include: CereTom Multislice Scanner, P/N 10-00087-001; Silhouette Scan Board, P/N 10-00010-001; Mobile Workstation and Case, P/N 10-00028-001; 512MB USB Flash Drive, P/N 310-000002; Standard Warranty Agreement, P/N 0-00015-001; Standard Perfusion Upgrade, P/N 0-00003-001; Optistat Handheld Power Injector, P/N 0-00002-001; Lead Curtain Upgrade, P/N 0-00031-001; Scanner Drive System (SDS), P/N 0-00037-001; Universal Body Transer Board, P/N 0-00058-001. Partial quotes will not be accepted. Items are to be shipped directly to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in in Washington, DC. This announcement constitutes the solicitation by USAMRAA, Ft Detrick, MD as a Request for Quote (RFQ) and offers must be submitted in writing (oral offers will not be accepted). The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-22. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The SIC Code is 3845 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334517. This is a best value procurement. The Government may elect to award to other than the lowest priced offeror.
