- Description
- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Digestive, Diabetes & Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) intends to procure the following items: Brand Name or Equal to PE Module (Stand-Alone) # SE-301-1002 to include the Solexa Paired End (PE) Module, Installation kits and Standards. The equal item must meet the characteristics of the brand name item to be acceptable for award. Basis for Award: Offerors must provide descriptive literature or other material that demonstrates their offer meets the forgoing requirements. This action is under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (1), as set forth in FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supply will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the closing date of this announcement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. It is anticipated that Request for Quotation (RFQ) NIHDK2009162 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. Request for the RFQ must be in writing to the National Library of Medicine, 6707 Democracy Boulevard, Two Democracy Plaza, Room 773, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
