(b) Although "proposal" and "offeror" are used in this "DRAFT" Request for Proposal (RFP), your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This solicitation is issued for planning purposes in support of a potential VDATS performance based acquisition. The attached specifications and drawings are submitted for industry review and comment. It is anticipated that a formal RFP will be issued at a later date. (d) The government is in the process of applying for a VDATS trademark. (e) In response to this announcement, please provide comments to the following individuals no later than close of business, 22 April 2009: Deborah A. Simmons, Contracting Officer, at (478) 327-3595 or Linda F. Ralston, Industry Point of Contact, at (478) 327-3591 (f) Although not anticipated, additional information may be provided via additions to this posting. (g) The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Militarily Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement.
