Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be issued as unrestricted under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 3563, the NAICS code is 333912 and the related Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) website (http://www.ccr.gov) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a Purchase Order or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. All prospective offerors also must obtain a valid Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE code). The Offeror Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) can be submitted and updated online at the ORCA website (http//orca.bpn.gov). Representations and Certifications Application. Paper copies will not be available. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which, if timely received, will be considered by the agency. Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their quote. The government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order for the repair of an Ingersoll-Rand Air Dryer Compressor. The Contractor shall be responsible for the repair of unique, one-off repair of desiccant dryer for the building's main air compressor. This repair will consist of the following: • Installing a new circuit board • Installing three (3) I/O modules • Installing four (4) fuses • Installing two (2) pressure switches • Installing the desiccant • Installing post filter elements • Installing mufflers • A system serviceability check and verification upon completion of the required repairs After completion of the inspection, the contractor shall supply a comprehensive report containing the following: • Any system malfunctions during the check out • A list of any repairs with the estimated cost The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition.
