- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This acquisition is set aside for small business; the associated NAICS code is 424312 and the small business size standard is 50 employees. The Product Service Code is S204. The government will award a firm-fixed-price contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, with the lowest price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. The government may elect to award without discussions. The contract will be awarded on or about April 24, 2009. REQUIREMENTS: Badlands National Park, Interior, South Dakota, has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The volume required is between 8,000 and 9,500 gallons. The delivery shall not exceed 9,500 gallons. Delivery shall be made within 10 calendar days of notification of award. The contractor shall make deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Driver(s) must coordinate delivery with Ray Sawdy, 605-433-4272. The magnitude for the purchase is less than $25,000.00. The Synopsis/Solicitation can be downloaded at the DOI website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) O/A April 9, 2009 and unless amendments are issued extending the solicitation the offers are due by 2:00 pm MST April 23, 2009. The Government reserves the right to cancel this synopsis/solicitation..
