- Description
- The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Pacific intends to issue a sole source modification to existing Southeast Asia Multi-Function Support (SEAMS) Services contract, N62742-00-D-5001 with Defense Support Services Singapore Pte Ltd (DS2). The modification to this Fixed-Price w/IQ provisions contract will extend the present period of performance for two months from 1 May 2009 to 30 June 2009. Extending the period of performance by a period of two months through 30 June 2009 will ensure no lapse in services by providing the essential facilities support services. Although more than one source may be able to fulfill the requirement, this would create substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through a competition for the short term extension. The modification is being executed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
