Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number N00164-09-R-JS35 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. This requirement is for a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Inde! finite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Unmanned Aerial Target (UAT) Systems to support Training and RDT&E missions at DOD ranges and other military/non-military installations worldwide IAW specifications provided in the solicitation; with a minimum quantity of 1 and maximum quantity of 200 per order. Contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration. Other requests to receive the data shall be referred to Commander, Code 0562NN, NSWC Crane, Indiana, 47522-5001. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination. The Government intends to award to the responsible contractor whose offer is the best value to the Government considering past performance, price, and price-related factors. The solicitation will be available on or about 03 APR 2009. Offers may be e-mailed to lisa.a.sandy@navy.mil. All required information must be received on or before 05 MAY 2009 2:00 PM EDT.
