- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with The Boeing Company for the procurement of the ninety-one (91) Production Units of the Diagnostic Avionics Testers (DAT) as well as all of the necessary Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The ILS will include Support Equipment Requirement Documents (SERDs), Technical Publications, and other logistics requirements. The DAT is used for the US Navy’s Tactical Reconnaissance (TACRECCE) and Electro-Optical Infrared (EO/IR) F/A-18 Maintenance Program. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own current data drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
