- Description
- The purpose of this contract is to secure services for applying registered insecticides on designated lodgepole pine, whitebark pine, limber pine, Englemann spruce, and/or blue spruce trees in developed recreation areas on some or all districts of the Shoshone National Forest and on individual whitebark pine superior and operational cone collection trees on the Wind River and Washakie Districts of the Shoshone National Forest to prevent attack by mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae) or spruce beetle (Dendroctonus rufipennis). The Contractor shall be responsible for preventing insecticide from coming into contact with eating and/or drinking facilities within developed recreation sites. The Contractor shall furnish all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished) and incidentals to perform the required work.
