- This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request Number: W81NWY90482600 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This purchase request document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This acquisition is being conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12. This requirement is proposed contract action for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This solicitation is being submitted with the intent to sole source to ArthroCare Corporation, 7500 Rialto Blvd STE 100 Bldg 2, Austin TX. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency, which will be considered under NAICS code 339112 and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
