- The items to procure: (a) Plate, Mounting, NSN 5340-01-503-2007, PN 12987833, machined from aluminum alloy, plate,.25 STK, 6061-T651 and is 4.515 inches X 4.895 inches in size with drilled holes. Finish is chromate chemical film and carc green color applied; (b) Plate, Mounting, NSN 5340-01-539-6128, PN 12987823, machined from aluminum alloy, plate,.25 thick, 6061-T6. The part is 6.42 inches X 6.27 inches and has approx 16 drilled holes. Finish is chromate and carc paint; (c) Plate, Mounting, NSN 5340-01-503-2005, PN 12992749, machined from aluminum alloy, plate.25 STK, 6061-T651 and is 4.515 inches X 4.895 inches in size with drilled holes. Finish is chromate chemical film an dcarc green color applied; (d) Bracket, Mount, NSN 5340-01-539-0399, PN 12987824, machined from aluminum alloy, extruded, 6061 and includes (4) holes drilled 0.360 in, (4) countersunk dia.0.547 in, and (4) helical coil inserts-MS122121. The part is 6.27 in X 2.27 in X 2.22 in with chromate chemical film finish, plus carc paint, color green. Items are for use on the Mortar Fire Control System for Mortars. FOB is Destination. Exact quantities are not known at this time. Award of FFP, 3 year IDIQ contracts are contemplated. Guaranteed minimum quantities will be specified in the solicitation. Estimated issue date is 20 Apr 09. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
