- The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement to provide janitorial services at Las Vegas McCarran International (LAS) for TSA Occupied space, located in Las Vegas, NV. This is a notice for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Request for Proposal number is HSTS01-09-R-RES258. This solicitation and subsequent contract award incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28. Pursuant to FAR 19.501, this acquisition is a total small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 and the small business size standard for this NAICS code is $15.0 million dollars in annual receipts. All responsible sources considered a small business under this NAICS code are eligible to respond to this solicitation. The Transportation Security Administration intends to award a firm fixed price contract with one base year and two (2) one year option periods on a competitive basis to one responsive and responsible offeror. The offerors shall be considered responsible as defined within the meaning of FAR 9.104. A site visit is mandatory and will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport at 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time (PST). Prospective offerors shall contact James Norman at 702-577-9004 (or Alternate POC: Gary Asher, 702-577-9028) to confirm their attendance by Wednesday, April 8, 2009. The meeting location will be held at the LAS TSA Office, in front of Door CT/1305, located adjacent to Baggage Carousel 16, on Level 1 of Terminal 1 (Main Terminal). No technical or contractual questions will be answered nor will any additional instruction outside the Statement of Work be provided on the site visit. Should a vendor have questions of either nature please direct them via email only to Jennifer.Springer@dhs.gov at the TSA HQ Office of Acquisition. Offeror participation in the site-visit will be verified with Mr. Norman by the Contracting Officer/Contract Specialist prior to award. Proposals submitted from offerors who do not participate, will have their proposals rendered as non-responsive. It is anticipated that the RFP will be posted to FedBizopps via amendment to this notice no later than Monday, April 6, 2009.
