- The synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is a single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access the information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia, 22448-5l00, plans to procure on a sole source basis, twelve (12) Pushbutton Switches (Consent) P/N LED-42-55-KM-38304, nine (9) Pushbutton Switches (ARM1) P/N LED-42-55-KM-38305, twelve (12) Pushbutton Switches (Fire) P/N LED-42-55-KM-38307, nine (9) Pushbutton Switches (ARM2) P/N LED-42-55-KM-38306, five (5) Pushbutton Switches (ARM) P/N LED-42-55-KM-E076J, twenty-eight (28) Switch Guards P/N 17-675, forty-seven (47) Quick-Connect Plugs P/N 18-20! 0, five (5) Extraction Tools P/N 18-234, two (2) Wire Extraction Tools P/N 18-216, two (2) Cap Extractors P/N 17-150, from Aerospace Optics, Incorporated, 3201 Sandy Lane, Fort Worth, TX 76112-7203 (D&B # 047873658), which will be delivered to the Receiving Officer, 6620 Tisdale Road, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA 22448. These units will be used to plan and execute the engagement of ground targets from aircraft platforms, which will provide the warfighter with stand-off precision guided munition capabilities. These items are identical to existing equipment and must satisfy the form, fit and function to existing hardware configuration, including mounting and interface requirements. These units will also be utilized to support critical US special operations. There will be no written solicitation issued as a result of this notification. Please reference NSWC Request for Quote (RFQ) # N00178-09-Q-2047. Interested parties may submit their quotes/bids to the ! following: dana.strickland@navy.mil Because of the urgent nature of this notice, this solicitation is expected to close on or about 07 April 2009, with award expected on/before 10 April 2009 and delivery to the fleet no later than 15 April 2009.
