- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to procure the following item: a new 5-Ton Bridge Crane to replace an existing 5-Ton Bridge Crane designated for General Purpose Service as defined by NAVSEA 0989-030-7000. Please see the attachment for the statement of requirements.The site at NSWCDD will be available on 10 April 2009 from 9:00 am through 1:00 pm ET to observe conditions and measure dimensions. Vendors intending to conduct a site visit must notify the contract specialist at stacey.palivoda@navy.mil by 2:00 pm ET on 8 April 2009 and provide the following information; company name, full name of the individual attending, and citizenship. Any vendor not providing this information as required will not be given access to NSWCDD to perform this site visit. Bids will be due on 15 April 2009 by 2:00 pm ET. All questions after the site visit must be directed to the contract specialist at stacey.palivoda@navy.mil by 2:00 pm ET on 13 April 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333923 with a size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is set-aside for Small Business participation. This item will be acquired utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The closing date is 2:00PM ET on 15 April 2009. The anticipated award date is 20 April 2009. All items are to be priced FOB-Destination, Dahlgren, VA. THE GOVERNEMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED ON THIS NOTICE.
