- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE, NOT A REQUEST FOR A PROPOSAL. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District, intends to negotiate and award a contract on a noncompetitive basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to Howell Oil Company, 808 NW 12th Street, Belle Glade Fl, 3343, to purchase Off-road diesel fuel, Chevron Hydraulic Oil AW ISO 68, and Chevron Hydraulic Oil AW 68. This product will be delivered to the Clewiston, FL area. SIC Code is 5171, NAICS Code is 424710, Size standard is 100 Employees. The sole source determination is based upon Howell Oil Company being the only eligible local company that can deliver the desired products or services to the location needed. This Notice of Intent is not a request for proposals. Information received from interested parties will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
