- This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole Source bridge contract purchase order to the incumbent janitorial contractor – Quality Coast, Inc. 2520 Main Street, Suite E, Chula Vista, CA 91911-4625, a Woman Owned Business, SBA Certified Small Disadvantaged Business. The contractor shall provide janitorial services in accordance with the existing Statement of Work (SOW) for the following locations: AMU/BORSTAR, Chula Vista Station, Imperial Beach Station, I-94 Check Point, I-8 Check Point (West), Boulevard Station, Old Highway 80 & I-8 Check Point (East), Old Highway 80 (West), Forrest Gate Facility, and New Campo Station/Pine Valley. This award will be made under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”. The anticipated NAICS Code is for this requirement is 561720, with $0-$15M size standard. The period of performance is 4 months (April 1, 2009 through July 31, 2009).The described janitorial services will continue as currently contracted with Quality Coast, Inc., to ensure continuity of services until such time that these services are procured competitively. Companies are encourage to monitor FedBiZopps and FedBid announcements for any future requirements pertaining to janitorial services. This notice of intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS; No formal solicitation package is available.
