- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with Air Products and Chemicals, Inc of Allentown, PA. The contractor will provide Versalink Liquid Polymer, P-1000, without string resonance test. Air Products and Chemicals, Inc is the only source for this proprietary formulated curative. The Versalink P-1000 is a two-part adhesive used as a standard Navy bonding agent called Versathene and is only available through Air Products and Chemicals Inc. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
