- Description
- The Government intends to award a follow-on sole source, firm fixed price contract with Paul Greenblatt Consulting, Minneapolis, MN, per FAR Part 6.302-1. This requirement is for the contractor to continue system design engineering and analysis for the development of the CBASS Torpedo, provide problem solutions, and develop approaches required to deal with predicted future undersea warfare environments. The contractor shall provide technical services for the ongoing development of CBASS Phase II, Builds 4, 5 & 6. The primary focus of this tasking shall be to develop algorithm and software specification efforts for the development of the Heavyweight and Lightweight Torpedo software via an Advanced Processor Build (APB) Program. Paul Greenblatt Consulting is the only qualified vendor at this time to perform this requirement within existing schedules due to his unique knowledge and expertise of the existing algorithms, software baseline, and sonar experiences. Antici! pated award date is 18 May 2009. Period of Performance shall not exceed 48 months. Delivery is F.O.B. desination, Newport, RI. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the government. Telephone requests will not be honored. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NAICS: 541330. See Note 22.
