- This is a notice of intent of the VA Maryland Health Care System to issue a sole source award to University of Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland to provide Radiology Services. This procurement is being conducted under authority FAR 6.302-1. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Governments minimum needs can best be satisfied by services available from one source. The duties are outlined in the Statement of Work of the solicitation. The contract will be for one (1) base year, with four (4), one (1) year option periods. NAICS code is 621512. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals, but, for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation. The Government will consider all information received on or before April 13, 2009, 4:00PM EST. Information received shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government, and must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer (90C), VA Maryland Health Care System, PO Box 1000, Building 101B, Room 2, Perry Point, Maryland 21902-1000, to my attention. Telephone or faxed inquiries will not be accepted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date is April 30, 2009.
