- Request for Information Tips on Writing and Assembling Senior Executive Service (SES) Certification Packages The Bureau of the Public Debt is conducting market research to locate contractors capable of providing a one-day, on-site training session on "Tips On Writing and Assembling Senior Executive Service (SES) Certification Packages," which shall include critiquing participant Executive Core Qualifications (ECQ) narrative statements, providing the instructor, and all required training materials. Participants should be able to: • Understand the requirements and process for gaining entry to the SES • Craft an effective SES resume • Understand Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and technical competencies • Utilize basic guidelines for writing effective ECQ narrative statements • Incorporate the Challenge-Context-Action-Result (CCAR) model into ECQ narrative statements • Understand how to identify and utilize executive level examples and quantifiable results • Utilize tips for assembling a fine-tuned certification package • Understand Qualification Review Board (QRB) process, including how they are administered and what they look for when reviewing SES certification packages Qualified contractors must provide the following: 1. The name and location of your company, contact information, and identify your business size (Large Business, Small Business, Disadvantaged Business, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, HubZone, etc.) based on NAICS Code 611430, size standard $7.0m. Please ensure contact information includes the name of the point of contact, email address, and telephone number should the Government have questions regarding individual responses. 2. Whether your services are available through a Government contract vehicle or Open Market. 3. A brief capabilities statement (not to exceed 5 pages) that includes a description of your company's standard line of business, as well as a list of customers your company currently provides these services for. 4. Contractors should provide their DUNS, if applicable. Responses to this request must be submitted no later than 2:00 p.m. ET on April 7, 2009, and must be submitted electronically to PSB2@bpd.treas.gov to the attention of Geoff Barnes. The following file extensions are not allowable and application materials/data submitted with these extensions cannot be considered:.bat,.cmd,.com,.exe,.pif,.rar,.scr,.vbs,.hta,.cpl, and.zip files. Microsoft Office compatible documents are acceptable. No other information regarding this RFI will be provided at this time. This notice does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that the response is not a request that will be considered for contract award. All interested parties will be required to respond to any resultant solicitation separately from their response to this sources sought notice. Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list.
