- Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, RDECOM, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order to Hills, Inc. of Melbourne, FL 32904. The order involves purchasing a heater ring extension with plate accessories. This is being sole-sourced to Hills Inc. as the heater ring extension with accessories is unique in its design and is the only extender that will conform to Tricomponent Fiber Spinning Extruder previously purchased from Hills Inc. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that determines it can meet the requirements may give written notice to the Contract Specialist within five (5) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. This information can be emailed to the Contract Specialist, Nathan.C.Jordan@us.army.mil. Responses will be evaluated, however, a determination by the government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This synopsis expires 6 April at 800 EST.
