- Description
- The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform Herbicide Application as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), except as specified in Section 3 as Government-furnished property and services, at Lucky Peak Lake. The contractor must perform to the standards in this contract. The estimated quantities of work are listed in Technical Exhibit 2, Workload Estimates (estimated 339,965 square feet). The purpose of this contract is to maintain a weed free environment in the areas specified in the Technical Exhibit 2 from April 1st through September 30th of each year, eliminating the need for mechanical weed removal for the purpose of accomplishing project missions of fire hazard reduction, noxious weed abatement, and providing quality recreational experiences to the public. The contractors proposal must include timeframes for application, herbicides to be used, and monitoring/quality control activities to insure that the purposes are met. A site visit has been scheduled for April 6, 2009. Solicitation will have information regarding this site visit.
