- Description
- The MEDCOM Health Care Acquisition Activity, Center for Health Care Contracting, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to award one non-personal services, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide hospital housekeeping services at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The base period of performance will be from 1 November 2009 through 30 September 2010 with four 1-year options through 30 September 2014. This competitive procurement is 100% set-aside for the Small Business Administration 8(a) program. The NAICS code is 561720. The small business size standard for this requirement is $16,500,000.00. Offerors must have at least 24 months of hospital housekeeping experience within the previous 36 months as of the due date for submission of proposals under this solicitation. Offerors may meet this mandatory minimum experience requirement through a Mentor/Protg Agreement (Small Business Administration or Department of Defense) or joint venture arrangement. The contractor will be required to provide all labor and materials at the stated facilities with an aggregate total of approximately 463,856 square feet to be maintained in accordance with the Governments Performance Work Statement. The solicitation W81K04-09-R-0016 will be issued without further notice on or about 11 May 2009 and will be available for downloading through FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued and telephone requests or fax requests will not be accepted. The Government reserves the right to cancel this presolicitation notice if necessary. The solicitation will have all of the necessary information required for the preparation and submission of the proposals. PLEASE WAIT FOR THE SOLICITATION TO BE POSTED PRIOR TO ASKING ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS REQUIREMENT.
