To receive a copy of the solicitation, please follow the directions at the bottom of the page.============================================================================================IMPORTANT NOTE:(This is a Reprocurement of former Solicitation No. 09SI604020 which was cancelled. Contractors on the planholders list of former Solicitation No. 09SI604020 will be sent a copy of this reprocurement solicitation). ============================================================================================ Description of the Work:The principal components of the work include saw cut and remove portions of the existing granite to prepare damaged areas for concrete repair. Supply and install grouted anchor bars; supply and install steel reinforcing bars; supply and install new concrete in the areas being repaired. Remove and dispose of debris currently littering the tunnel. The on-site tunnel access work associated with these specifications cannot begin until after August 15, 2009 and the access will become inaccessible around October 15, 2009. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB)-Reprocurement. The solicitation package are tentatively scheduled to be issued on or around April 13, 2009. An on-site pre bid meeting is tentatively scheduled for April 28, 2009. The sealed bids are tentatively due on or around May 13, 2009 at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Acquisition Services, Room 2035, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101, Attention: Alma Bergerson. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional copies are $9.00 each and they will be provided upon receipt of a non-refundable cashier check or money order. The estimated range of the project is $250,000 to $500,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $31.0 million. This is an unrestricted acquisition, pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The specifications and drawings are not available on the Internet. A complete solicitation package is available upon written request. To obtain a copy of the solicitation package please fax a request to Hart BlackEagle, fax number 406-247-7798. The written request must include the company's address, Dun and Bradstreet Number (DUNS), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). Contractors interested in doing business with the Federal Government MUST have a valid registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. To register go to http://www.ccr.gov. The apparent low bid contractor MUST be registered in CCR in order to receive the award. Contractors must also be registered in ORCA (On-Line Representations and Certifications.
