- THIS IS AN INVITATION FOR BID (IFB) - SEALED BID - FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION The solicitation will NOT be posted on the Internet. To receive a copy of the solicitation please send a request to FAX number 406-247-7798, Attn: Hart BlackEagle, on company letterhead, identifying contractor's name, street address, company's Dun and Bradstreet number (DUNS) and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). There is no charge for the first copy; additional copies are $9.00 each (Cashier Check or Money Order written to Bureau of Reclamation). Work required under these specifications include: 1) Furnish and Install handhole cover plates; 2) Furnish and install bird screen; 3) Furnish and place joint sealant; 4) Surface preparation and coating of the following items: a) Trunnion Pin Anchor Girders and b) Radial gate hoisting equipment; and 5) Handling and disposing of waste stream material. Special Note: Cliff swallows and barn owls are present at the site during certain times of the year and are protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. These species are protected from taking and disturbances to active nests containing eggs and young birds. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or around 4/23/09. Proposals are tentatively due on or around May 20, 2009, at the office of Bureau of Reclamation, Attn: Alma Bergerson GP-3800, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana 59101. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 237990, the Small Business Size Standard is $31.0 million. This acquisition is unrestricted.
