- Description
- The USDA Forest Service, Southwestern Region, intends to award a sole source contract to Craig White Consulting Services on the basis of other than full and open competition under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Contractor shall provide expertise in both statistics and accounting to provide the Forest Service’s auditors, KPMG, with assurance of accurate accrual reporting of agency contracts, agreements and operational obligations. The work includes; providing and developing statistical modeling, gathering data points, utilizing the Stata statistical software package, consulting with staff and auditors to meet the requirements for a consistent basis of accounting and achieve an unqualified opinion of the agency’s financial statements. Firms that believe they can provide these services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notice. Responses to this notice must be received no later than close of business, 4/14/2009 to Linda Marquette at lmarquette@fs.fed.us
