- Description
- The intent of this contract is to obtain the surveying services for the maintenance of previously established corner points, corner accessories, and maintenance/posting of property lines. Present conditions may vary in condition, and state of deterioration. The contractor is to restore the corner points, property lines, and corner accessories to the standards and specifications listed within this contract. The contractor is to select the methods and instruments necessary to accomplish this work. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials (except Government-furnished materials), transportation, equipment, tools, operating supplies, and incidentals to complete the work as specified. All work shall be performed by, or under the direct supervision of a person licensed to practice surveying in the State of Oregon. The project is located on the McKenzie River Ranger District, Willamette National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. A single firm fixed price contract will be issued to the firm evaluated to be the most qualified based on the following criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance of the required services. (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required. (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time. (4) Past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules. (5) Location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project; provided, that application of this criterion leaves an appropriate number of qualified firms, given the nature and size of the project. The Government will use the short selection process described in FAR 36.602.5 and will utilize the database maintained by the Army Corps of Engineers for the SF-330. This database is generated from the information entered into the On-Line Certifications and Representations located at: https://orca.bpn.gov/ SF-330’s will be pulled from the database on or after April 20, 2009.
