Description
The proposed procurement is unrestricted; NAICS 236220 with a small business size standard of not to exceed $33.5 million average annual receipts over preceding three fiscal years, estimated cost of services is between $1,0000,000 and $5,000,000. Solicitation will be posted on or about 13 April 2009. Solicit and award one contract for renovations and upgrades to a Booster Pumping Station and its adjacent Electric Substation Building while they remain in service. The project consists of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical upgrades. An emergency generator will be installed and multiple limited duration electrical outages will be performed to replace conductors and convert equipment from 240V to 480V. A new automated trash rake system will be installed at the intake necessitating the dewatering and sediment removal from the forebay. Completion no later 365 calendar days Additional information in accordance with the statement of work is included in the information for bid package. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. All questions shall be submitted via email to carol.a.williams@usace.army.mil. Bids can be submitted via mail to U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, P. O. Box 1715, Attn: CENAB-CT, Baltimore, MD 21203. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 13 April 2009, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered Sensitive, but unclassified documents and require users to have valid MPIN entered in the FBO systems to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted.
