DRAFT SA-3 Section C DRAFT SA-1 Section C The Department of Education, Federal Student Aid, will conduct a Vendor Conference on Thursday April 16, 2009, from 9:30 am to 12 pm, local time Washington, DC at the Potomac Center Plaza Building, Auditorium, 550 12th St. SW Washington DC 20024. Federal Student Aid will provide a general overview of its acquisition strategy for the Enterprise Development Support Services (EDSS) Model. The focus of the overview is two upcoming procurements for the EDSS Model: Service Area – 1, Requirements Services; and Service Area – 3, Test Services. Both are these two separate procurements are a Total Small Business Set-Aside. See attached draft Section C, Performance Work Statements, for each of these two procurements. During the next two weeks, through a FedBizOps amendment to this Notice, will be draft RFPs for each of these two procurements. Companies who plan to attend the Vendor Conference MUST register using the format per the attached spreadsheet. The limit to each company is two (2) representatives. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on April 8, 2009. For security purposes, each participant must be registered in advance by the closing time and date for registration, be escorted in the building, is subject to search before entering the building, and must present a photo identification. Acceptable forms of identification are limited to: valid State driver’s license, passport, school issued ID, or Government ID. Equipment (Laptops) brought into the building will need to be registered at the security desk. Attendance at this conference is optional and will have no bearing, influence, or impact on the selection process for the forthcoming procurements. No written correspondence, literature or submission of any type will be accepted at the Vendor Conference. No recording devices of any type are permitted.
