- The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed-priced purchase order, based on FAR Part 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements” to the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) Company for membership in their Information Technology, CIO Executive Board. This contract will have a one-year base period with two additional one-year option periods. CEB is recognized worldwide as a mission-driven organization providing best practices research, tools and executive education to a member of the world’s leading corporations and not for profit institutions. CEB provides access to research addressing issues related to corporate strategy, operations and general management, and focuses on identifying and addressing management initiatives, processes, tools and framework allowing clients to avoid reinventing the wheel in addressing problems they share in common with their peers. It grants unlimited access to proprietary council research, and provides a series of annual research presentations which are customized to the member’s organizational requirements. CEB is the only known source providing these specific services. Contract award is expected on or about 30 March 2009. The anticipated NAICS code is 813920, size standard $7.0 M
