- Questions and Answers Do you know what gauge material is requested on the SS square tubing and the SS sheet on the bottom shelf? Response-Cart must be at least 304 stainless steel construction. Gauge must be enough to support 150 pounds of feed in polycarbonate feed bin. 2. Is the bottom shelf stainless steel? Response- Yes 3, Is the bottom tray removable? Response- No Amend the following terms and conditions of the solicitation. The provision at FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items applies to this solicitation. The following addenda have been attached to this provision: Paragraph (d) product samples are not required with submission of offers. Product samples may be required by the apparent awardee to determine technical acceptability. If required, a product sample shall be delivered 50 days from date of notification by the government. Delivery will be to 3900 NCTR Rd, Jefferson, AR 72079. The contractor may deliver an acceptable product sample as part of the contract quantity. Within 10 calendar days after the Government receives the product sample, the Contracting Officer shall notify the Contractor, in writing, of the conditional approval, approval, or disapproval of the product. The Government may waive the requirement for product sample where supplies identical or similar to those called for in the schedule have been previously furnished by the Offeror/Contractor and have been accepted by the Government. The Offeror/Contractor may request a waiver.
