- NAICS Code: 335999 Request for Quote RFQ-DC-09-00159Digital Ultrasonic Energy Meter This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued.The Request for Quote number is RFQ-DC-09-00159 for this requirement. This RFQ incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-30. The applicable NAICS code is 335999. It is the Government's intent to award a Purchase Order for the requirement below: The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) Biological and Economic Analysis Division (BEAD) Microbiology Laboratory Branch (MLB) requires a Digital Ultrasonic Energy Meter with the following specifications: 1. Traceable calibration certificate; 2. Wide range of frequency measurement (0-500 kHz); 3. Wide range of power measurement (0-250 Watt);4. Capable of processing readings at least 1.5 times per second t enable the acquisition of data at 1 sec intervals; 5. Capable of data storage in on-board memory with memory options for average value, maximum value, minimum value, deviation, etc.; 6. Capable of transferring and/or downloading data to a computer for documentation and storage; 7. Digital readout; and8. Meets power requirements for use with standard United States household current (50/60 Hz, 115 VAC).Specifically, a quote is requested for a Digital Ultrasonic Energy Meter. The response shall be delivered within 30 days of award of a purchase order in an electronic format. The electronic documents shall be Section 508 Compliant (http://www.access-board.gov). The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2, Offeror Representations & Certifications-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Quotes are requested by 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2009 and may be submitted via e-mail to jemmott.abbie@epa.gov.
