- The work consists of adit excavation and shoring of the portal of the former Almeda Mine, located near Galice, Oregon on the Rogue River. Work includes supply and installation of mine reinforcement materials, including a galvanized, corrugated steel pipe, transport of wastes to a repository and supplying and installing a metal locking grate on the adit opening. Option items for additional excavation and waste transport will be included. NAICS code is 213114. The project site is in Josephine County, Medford District, Oregon. Project price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated start work is May 18, 2009, and performance time is 24 calendar days. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note 1. Bonds: Security requirements for awards (includes option quantities) in excess of $25,000 are 100% payment protection and 20% performance security. See clause in Part III.8.0. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.fedconnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is April 9, 2009.
