- RFQ VA-258-09-RQ-0117 Original Close date: 03/27/2009 Amended Close date: 04/01/2009 The purpose of this amendment is to provide questions asked by a contractor. Question 1. The new chiller is 212 7/16" long/there is 2 each 5" x 5" vertical structural beams that will have to be permanently removed, (structural drawings will be required? Govt. Response: The government is asking for a turn key project and can not say what type of professional services may or may not be needed. Question 2. The new chiller width is 125" over all. This includes the electrical control monitor. This electrical panel requires 48" free front clearance (Electrical Code) what & where can the panel be mounted? Govt. Response: The location of the panel is dependent on the placement of the chiller. This question can only be answered by the installation contractor. Question 3. The new chiller requires a 1200 amp service. There is only a 600 amp bucket available in the existing electrical panel area. Where does the power tie into for the new chiller? Govt. Response: This is question that refers back to response one. The contractor must decided what type of professional services are required. Gary E. Templin Contracting Officer
