- The contractor shall provide 9 Large Format Printers/scanner equipment that meets the Wid eFormat print/copy/scan document requirements at the Defense Supply Center Columbus 3990 East Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43213. DLA-J6C utilizes large format printing as the primary tool for engineering drawings and graphic design output. Additionally, associates print from a variety of applications requiring large format capability in various sizes ranging from “C” through “E”. Enhanced resolution is required for all output to ensure legibility in the highest capacity. The contractor shall provide DLA-J6C with large format equipment that meets the requirements below. Large Format Hardware/Software Requirements Printer must accept and output multiple formats including all major raster and vector formats up to 600 dpi. Printer must allow for network printing from an unlimited number of Windows XP workstations (IWS environment). Printer must include a multi-roll system for both print and copy function up to “E” size prints. Client software provided with controller or desktop client to be integrated within DSCC technical environment including Citrix Server. Scan-to-file system must be network compatible and operate within the IWS environment. Ability to retrieve scanned image files with integrated XP compatible client software or FTP. Image preview on controller or built-in display unit. Controller must be Windows XP compatible and able to be secured on the DLA-J6C network. Document management software will be needed for administration use only (Single user license request). The software must be able to operate in the IWS environment (multi-tasking) including: The software must be compatible with Windows XP The software must be able run without having administrative privileges on the IWS.
