- **** ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE Electronically in FBO is April 13, 2009 this Stewardship contract will be to provide services/construction, which will be compromised of five components, removal of dead spruce (176 acres) via ground base logging using mechanical harvest equipment and whole tree removal, removal of hazard trees adjacent to State Highway 143 and Forest Roads, brush disposal, road reconditioning, and road construction, for the Dixie National Forest, Cedar City Ranger District, Utah. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services and facilities (except as otherwise specified), to perform the Statement of Work/Specifications. Contract Performance Time B1 – 10 calendar days, B2 – 45 calendar days. Estimated start work date is August 1, 2009. A pre-bid/pre-proposal conference will be held April 20, 2009, 10:00 am local time at the Dixie NF Supervisors Office, located at 1789 Wedgewood Lane, Cedar City, UT Please submit all questions and concerns five days prior to meeting to the Contracting Office prior to this date.
