- USTRANSCOM/TCAQ-S anticipates issuing a Small Business (SB) Set-Aside, Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 15 April 09 for Centralized Baggage Service Center (BSC) at Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform BSC functions. The contractor shall trace mishandled (lost, found, damages, or pilfered) baggage Air Mobility Command (AMC) – wide, determine final action of case files, and compile statistical data. The base period of performance is 01 Aug 09 through 30 Sept 09 with four one-year option periods. A pre-proposal conference and site visit is tentatively scheduled for the week of 30 Apr 09; actual date and time will be posted as information becomes available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. For purposes of this solicitation, the small business size standard is $7.0 million.
