- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District is seeking qualified small business sources of supply for a requirement entitled Genie Z-80/60 Self-Propelled Articulating Boom, or Approved Equal. Quantity sought is one [1]. The contract to be awarded will be firm-fixed-price. Requirement includes delivery to Ice Harbor Dam, Burbank Washington 99323. Also required are spare parts, operations manuals, and on-site training and certification by a factory-authorized service technician for up to fifteen (15) people. For details of technical specifications and salient characteristics please contact the POC listed in this announcement. The seller should have the capability to accept in trade as partial payment one [1] JLG brand manlift Model 800AJP. A full description and photos are available on request; please contact the POC listed in this announcement. Trade-in credit must meet or exceed the Governments estimate of real cash value. The Government reserves the right to refuse the trade-in offer. The JLG manlift is available in a where-in, as-is condition and is located at Ice Harbor Dam, Burbank Washington 99323. In order for contractors to make their determination of the value of the JLG manlift, the Government will schedule a site visit for interested contractors to view the equipment. Contractors may submit a proposal with or without trade-in considerations. All interested, capable, qualified and responsive small businesses are encouraged to respond. Central Contractor Registry (CCR) registration is required. If not registered please visit www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Interested small businesses must furnish the following information: Company Name, Address, Business Type (i.e. small business, small disadvantaged business, 8(a) small business, HUBZone small business, woman-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business), Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email address, DUNS Number, CAGE Code, TIN Number. The seller must state intent to offer the exact item specified by brand name and model number, or must provide a detailed specification sheet if intending to offer an approved equal item. This announcement is part of Governments market research effort and responses are sought in order to identify small business concerns with the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to provide for the Governments requirement. This Sources Sought Notice does not constitute a request for a formal proposal. This notice is provided as information to the marketplace as an invitation for an expression of interest and demonstration of capability. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information.
