- Description
- This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and Part 15. This acquisition is for the provision of Home Oxygen Supplies and Services. The solicitation will be an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract on a Firm-Fixed price basis. This procurement is Unrestricted. NAICS Code: 621610, Size Standard: $12.5 Million. The contractor shall provide complete Home Medical Oxygen to eligible Veteran Beneficiaries' residence of the Miami VA Healthcare System. Prices quoted shall include all costs for the storage, delivery, set-up adjustment, patient/caregiver instructions and recovery of equipment, both VA owned and rental for Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe Counties. The contractor shall possess all licenses, accreditations and certificates as required by local, state and federal law. The contract period will consist of a base period of one (1) year with three (3) one (1) year options to extend the term of the contract. Offers will be considered from all responsive, responsible offerors as determined by the Contracting Officer in accordance with FAR 9.104. The electronic Solicitation for RFP VA-248-09-RP-0231 may be downloaded at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The offeror is responsible for downloading all amendments and other documents from the FBO website without further notices from the Department of Veterans Affairs, Miami VA HealthCare System. Interested firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer via e-mail to Dian.Williams@va.gov, or fax your written request to (305) 575-3280 attention Dian E. Williams. Solicitation issue date will be on or about March 25, 2009, with offers tentatively due 30 days thereafter. Proposals shall be submitted by April 27, 2009 at 3:00 pm (EST) either by mail or handcarried to 1201 NW 16th St. RM 2A157T, Miami, Florida, 33125. FAX/E-MAIL PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All necessary solicitation documents will be available on/after March 25, 2009 on the FedBizOpps system, including any amendments.
