Any vendors interested in obtaining a copy of the this solicitation should contact Natasha Morse @ Natasha.Morse@va.gov Solicitation Due Date: 4/20/09 @ 2:00pm CST Description of the Requirement is as follows: *THERE WILL BE A PRE-BID TELECONFERENCE MEETING APRIL 7, 2009 @ 9:00am TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION* *ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED NLT 12:00PM ON 4/6/09 TO NATASHA MORSE @ NATASHA.MORSE@VA.GOV * *AN AMENDMENT TO THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO FBO LISTING ALL QUESTIONS ASKED LEADING UP TO AND INCLUDING THE PRE-BID TELECONFERENCE* DIAL IN# 1-800-767-1750 DIAL IN CODE#40738 This contract Statement of Work sets forth the requirements deemed necessary for the timely and cost-effective acquisition of a program to provide Podiatric Services at the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System (NWIHCS) of the Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, Lincoln Division, located at 600 South 70th Street, Lincoln, NE, on a scheduled per procedure cost basis. The negotiated contract to be party to such Statement of Work will be proposed and negotiated via the Enhanced Sharing Authority for buying medical services established in 38 U.S.C. 8153. a.Contractor will provide board-certified providers who are credentialed and privileged by the VAMC in accordance with Medical Center Bylaws, Rules and Regulations. A delineation of clinical privileges for contract podiatrists is as follows: (1)GENERAL PRIVILEGES: (a)Podiatry patients Diagnose Develop treatment plan Manage (b)Provide outpatient Podiatry clinic care. (c)Perform chart checks (to include documenting results and notifying patient of them) b. OVAMC anticipates approximately 1,386 procedures per year. On rare occasions, OVAMC may require added services on short notice on an urgent basis. These services will be reimbursed by the applicable CPT performed at prices specified in the Section entitled Schedule of Supplies/Services of this contract. c. Contractor demonstrates a quality assurance program which documents each case with reports showing individual and corporate results and comparisons. Provide individual patients reports, detailing data, procedure type, referring physician, exact procedure times, etc.
