- This is a pre-solicitation notice for a contractor to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and transportation to replace three waste water treatment systems on three islands in Lake Superior. The work consists of the general construction of three mounds with dosing pumps, backup generators, septic tanks, new service lines, alarms and controls. The mound systems will be constructed on Sand, Rocky, and Stockton Islands at the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. The project performance period is 60 days after issuance of the notice to proceed. The NAICS code is 238910. This project will be awarded as a Total HUBZone Set-Aside, offers will be solicited only from HUBZone small business concerns. The estimated price range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation with specifications, drawings, bid schedule, wage rates will be posted to the websites http://www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov. on or about April 8, 2009.
