Description
Recessed Cab Track Lighting System, Alkco or equal, for Midway Air Traffic Control Tower, Chicago, IL. 11 ea. RTCT2048 48" Recessed Housing, 11 ea. RTCT4048 48" Trim Set, 22 ea. RTCT4051 End Trim Piece, 33 ea. RTCT7000 Lightmodule, 33 ea. RTCT6001 Accessary Holder, 33 ea. RTCT6002 Hex Cell Louver, 33 ea. RTCT6003 Snoot, 66 ea. RTCT6010 Q20W MR16/Flood (BAB)lamp. These items have the following characteristics - The Recessed-track system combines the flexibility of track lighting with the visual benefits of a recessed solution. The system consists of a fully enclosed street housing that encompasses the track lighting and the light module (track head). This system provides full concealment of the track and light module limiting visual glare within the space. Light modules can be positioned anywhere along the length of the housing. Additional light modules can be added (up to 50W/linear foot) or existing light modules can be repositioned when needed. All this can be achieved from below the ceiling. The recessed housings are available in 2', 3' and 4' lengths of ceiling grid system. There are a series of extension intersection components that allow from customizing the ceiling layouts. Continuous runs, rectangular crossing patterns or other configurations are achievable. Ceiling trims can be field cut to fit the application. The overall cross-section of the housing is 10" high by 12" wide. The ceiling aperture is 5" wide by either 46.5" (for 4ft. housing), 34.5" (for a 3 ft. housing), or 22.5" (for a 2 ft. housing) The light modules can rotate 180 degrees horizontally and up to 45 degrees vertically. The front ring of the light module is fitted with a high temperature silicone rubber banding that remains cool to the touch and allos hot aiming. The light modules accept dimmable up to a 50W MR16/12 volt halogen lamp. For the air traffic control tower cab application, it was determined that a 20W lamp was sufficient. An electonic transformer is incorporated into each light module simplifying servicing. All parts are painted matt black to minimize relected glare within the space. The light modules are fitted with a snoot and hex cell louver to cut down high angle glare from the face of the lamp. The system is UL and CUL listed as a type non-IC thermally protected recessed incandescent fixture. It is also I.B.E.W. labeled. The manufacturer's engineer provides personal site inspections to confirm optimum installation of their products and provides solutions to any possible lighting concerns associated with unique electronic equipment installations of the cab at no extra cost. THESE ITEMS MUST BE COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT. No solicitation is available. If you have any questions call Kim Erkman, 847/294-7330.
