- 1. Common Data Link (CDL) is the Department of Defense (DoD) mandated Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) wideband data link and associated family of waveforms used to transmit ISR data from various platforms (air, land, and maritime) to stateside and in-theater dissemination and exploitation nodes. The CDL Program Management Office (PMO), Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Hanscom Air Force Base (HAFB), MA is planning to host CDL / Industry Information Exchange Days in the near future (dates TBD). The PMO seeks Industry ideas and recommendations in support of an effort to develop a cross-platform CDL strategy to better support modern day ISR demands and technologies. Among other areas, we are seeking ways to enhance CDL interoperability, spectrum efficiency, address network management, explore enhanced capabilities, discuss future opportunities and solicit ideas on how we can better deliver CDL technologies to dismounted warfighters while we continue! to evolve and integrate CDL capabilities into the next generation airborne network. 2. This is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, an Invitation for Bids, a solicitation, or a commitment by the CDL PMO to contract for items contained in this announcement. The Government will not pay respondents for participation or information in response to this announcement. 3. At Information Exchange Days, the program office will detail the developing CDL strategy, discuss its governance structure, review recent program office changes and goals, discuss recent leadership direction, and identify current and future challenges. Responses to this request will enable the CDL program office to assess Industry's level of interest in attending CDL Information Exchange Days at HAFB, MA.
