Description
The United States Government seeks to lease approximately 23,711 contiguous rentable square feet of existing office and related space consisting of approximately 23,711 rentable square feet. The delineated area is within the City Limits of Yuma, Arizona. The space should yield between 20,618 to 22,679 ANSI/BOMA office area square feet and fifty-seven (57) parking spaces are required reserved onsite. The proposed lease is for 10 years, 5 years firm and should be fully serviced. The space will be used by the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to house personnel, furnishings, and equipment. Other applicable requirements include: 1. The space must be in an existing office or light industrial building and section of the city that is professional in appearance, well-maintained, and of modern design and/or tastefully rehabilitated to modern use. 2. The space must be zoned to accommodate the Government's requirement. 3. The space must meet or be capable of being altered to meet the Government's requirements for accessibility and seismic safety 4. The space should be located outside a 100 year base flood plain. 5. There should be, as determined by the GSA Contracting Officer, adequate public parking, public transportation, eating facilities, and other services such as retail shops, banks, and cleaners in the area. Offers must be submitted by owner(s) or by authorized representatives of the owner(s) only. The Government seeks occupancy in late 2009. Interested parties should submit at a minimum the following information: 1. Building name and address 2. Rentable square feet, and rate per rentable square foot 3. Confirm ANSI/BOMA Method of Measurement, office area SF yield for available space by floor and building common area factor 4. Date space is available 5.
