- The purpose of this contract is to secure services for the application of carbaryl insecticide on designated lodgepole and ponderosa pine trees in designated recreation and administrative sites on the Helena and Lincoln Ranger Districts of the Helena National Forest, to provide protection from mountain pine beetle. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform all work required, including the appropriate mix of carbaryl. No pre-bid tour will be conducted. A Firm-Fixed Price contract is expected to result from this solicitation. Price range: $25,000 to 100,000. The solicitation will be available on approximately 9 April 2009, and can be downloaded from this website at that time.
