- This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotes or offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W912CZ-09-T-0023 is being issued as a Request for Quote, which incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. This acquisition is RESTRICTED. The associated NAICS code for this acquisition is 339950 small business standard size is 500. Line Item 0001: Description: Contractor shall provide a new entrance sign for the Hospital to include installation in concrete foundation, with steel poles for sign structure. Overall sign dimensions are 95 wide and 106 tall. Upper sign cabinet 27 x 94 back lit with fluorescent lamps with translucent, Fort Wainwright Army Hospital. The electronic message center, 3 x 95 in size with full color RGB 68 billion colors, Daktronics model AF-3500-24x80-34RGB-2V with radio transmitter up to 1500 feet line of sight communications, with a laptop computer with Venue 1500 software for sign control. Lower cabinet will be non lighted sheet metal pole wrap. Quantity 1 each, DESTINATION: Fort Wainwright, Alaska 99703. Delivery: No later than Aug 30, 2009. Offerors shall provide a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items, with quotes. Offeror shall include a completed copy of DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act Balance of Payments Program Certificate, if applicable or complete this document in http: orca.bpn.gov. A copy of the Offerors Representations and Certifications and Buy American Act Balance of Payments Program Certificate may be obtained http: farsite.hill.af.mil. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement, when compared to price. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items.
