- The proposed procurement is for (67 NSN’s), (1) that is in accordance with First Article Test, (24) that are in accordance to QPL’s and (42) that have approved parts numbers from various manufacturers. Small Business size standard is 500 employees. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Specifications, plans or drawings are available. Anticipated contract type is an Indefinite Quantity Contract. This proposed procurement contains an option to extend the Basic contract for up to 5 years, exercised in 1 year increments at the discretion of the Government. The total shall not exceed four (5) years. Items to be shipped to various locations within the established minimum and maximum quantity limits, on an as needed basis. This is an Unrestricted acquisition. We do not have complete unrestrictive tech data for these items. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of the offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specification and Standards, Qualified Products Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DOCDSSP using the ASSIST shopping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179). Users not having access to the Internet may contact the DODSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179) or mail requests to the DODSSP, Bldg. 4?d, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5094, Patterns, Drawings, Deviations List, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at the DODSSP. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved or implemented in the United States Trade Agreement Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government’s requirement with commercial item within 15 days of the notice. This solicitation will be issued on or about April 6, 2009. The contract specialist will not be able to provide copies of the solicitation.
